Sex Education Exhibition at the Nationaal Onderwijsmuseum during my internship at Namelok.
During my internship at Namelok, we worked on a commissioned project by the Nationaal Onderwijsmuseum in Dordrecht to design an exhibition for sex education around the theme of tents.
I conducted a lot of material experimentations and research surrounding tents, textiles, types of natural dyes and types of tent structures for the basis of the exhibition.

I focused on material-driven spatial storytelling and the translation of sensitive content into an engaging physical experience.
I led an in-depth research into natural pigments and plant-based dyeing techniques, developed and documented recipes, and hand-dyed over 600 m² of textiles that formed the tent-like spatial structures of the exhibition.
Alongside this, I supported the design process with hand drawings, 2D AutoCAD plans, physical models, and client presentations, moving between concept, detail, and execution with a strong attention to materiality, scale, and narrative.
